What a beautiful beach front condo!

Everything we had hoped for and more. My sister and I had the best week here. The beach is absolutely perfect. Playing in the waves had us feeling like kids again. At the end of the day it was such a pleasure to come back to this condo and relax on the lovely deck overlooking the ocean, watching the sunset. We even were treated to a meteor shower a few nights. The Condo is beautifully decorated, very clean and very well maintained. The owner Denise, is very thoughtful and cares deeply for the comfort of her guests. We had some airline issues and she was thoughtful enough to give us a gift certificate to the local ice cream shop. Yummy! We ate at several great restaurants Rucker Johns & Kathryn's Martini Bar to name a few. Both places were excellent. Would surely recommend this condo and Emerald Isle to everyone. Would definitely come here again. Thank you Denise for sharing your lovely place with us.

We walked in the door and decided we never wanted to leave! This was the perfect place for 2 sisters to have a vacation at the beach. The condo is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possible need. We had a great time playing in the waves at the beach...had us feeling like kids again. After a day at the beach it was so wonderful to come home to this condo. We would relax on the deck and watch the sunset. A few nights we were even treated to meteor showers, breathtaking! Nothing like having coffee in the morning on the deck and seeing a pod of dolphins swim past. We enjoyed eating at a few restaurants Rucker John's and Kathryn's Martini Bar both were excellent. Denise is a very thoughtful landlord, we had an issue with our flight and she was so distressed about our trouble she gave us a gift certificate for the local ice shop. Denise really cares for the happiness and comfort of her renters. Thank you Denise. We had the most relaxing vacation in years. We will certainly be back to this lovely place.

We have visited Emerald Isle multiple times over the last 20 years and no condo is as clean, well-maintained as this condo. Everything you would want is here! Location, layout and amenities abound. The owners have gone out of their way to make our vacations there perfect in all ways. Conveniently located to all the great restaurants, entertainment, historical sites, aquarium, grocery stores, gift shops, tours and much more. A gated community makes you feel very secure. The pool is fantastic, and the surrounding play areas are superior to any others. It sits on the higher floor level, so the view of the beach and ocean cannot be beat! We would recommended this location to friends and relatives without reserve (as long as they're not there during our week!..:>}..) Only bad thing is having to leave and return home!

We just loved everything about this condo! The location was great with an amazing view and access to the ocean. The condo was clean and decorated with real finds from the beach. You could tell the owner takes great care in making the space comfortable, stylish, and stocked for an elegant dinner or casual dining. We stay here whenever we visit Emerald Isle!!

Great view of the ocean from the top floor. Perfect access to the beach and a wonderful condominium that was well furnished with all the comforts of home. Nicely decorated with a professional touch clearly a cut above. Like the fact that the owner is very involved with her tenants needs and comfort. Most definitely will visit this again next summer. Highly recommend this.

This condo has everything you want and more! Don't bother bringing any kitchen equipment as it is VERY well stocked. The decor, the furnishings, the porch are spectacular. The view is out of this world! We sat on the back porch every night and could see shooting stars, fireworks that were miles away, and boats that I'm sure were heading to Morehead City. Great location for groceries, shopping and great dinner spots. The owner of the property and I conversed via email and telephone. She is a wonderful and thoughtful property owner. We did enjoy a few attractions: We went to Cape Lookout (that is now run by the Federal Park Service) and had a great time. We spent an afternoon in Beaufort looking in all the shops and had lunch there too. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation spot that has an easy and laid back atmosphere . . book this with Denise. You will be happy you did ~~

Quiet comfort on the beach

We'd never been to Emerald Isle - this was our first stay. This was the perfect place for our family of four. It's located in a quiet and secure condo development right on the beach. Lots of windows with a bright ocean view. The owners are considerate and nice and really care about the place. We had great lunches and dinners on the deck overlooking the ocean and seeing dolphins. Hurricane Arthur hit during our stay which made things "fun", but the owners were on the phone with us and our downstairs neighbors helped us keep secure and prepare well. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

Beautiful condo and great location. Right on the beach with fantastic views. The condo was exactly as advertised and Denise was very helpful and accommodating. We didn't explore much of the area because the condo and beach were so nice we didn't want to leave!

This is our 3rd year at Emerald Isle, but first at this condo. The proximity to the beach is amazing and so convenient. From the dining room, you feel like you are on a cruise overlooking the water. The complex is fantastic as it has it all (tennis, pool, shuffle board) There are wonderful biking and walking/running trails for miles right from the condo. It was very clean, nicely decorated, with plenty of cooking supplies. There is plenty of space under the decks to store your bikes and beach supplies. We will definitely be returning!

A relaxing picture-perfect Vacation!

From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect!! We loved this condo and the picturesque ocean views. The condo was spacious and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. Our sunrise walks along the beach made us feel like we had it all to ourselves! The pool was just across the small road, as was the basketball goal, tennis court and shuffleboard. There was a Dollar General very nearby, so we were able to pick up some things there. If you wanted to eat out, it was a bit of a drive, but the kitchen in the condo was very inviting! We went to Shackleford Banks and found the Banker Ponies, visited Fort Macon, and the nearby Aquarium. All were wonderful outings!! Our favorite place to eat was the Shark's Den, by far! The staff was amazing and so friendly and the food was delicious!!! Also, the Taffy at the Sweet Spot was worth stocking up on!! My parents, who having been vacationing for over 45 years together, both said this was the best vacation they've ever had!! Thanks for being so wonderful, Denise! Hope to stay here again sometime!

For those wondering, our condo is located 4 miles outside of the town center of Emerald Isle. The restaurants are 4 to 5 miles away, depending on which restaurant one chooses. Then we are the same distance from restaurants going the other direction on RT 58 ( Emerald DR ) towards Atlantic Beach. The first restaurants you will come to are in Saltar Path which is also 4 to 5 miles away.

We drove down from NJ for spring break. We had a great time at this condo. It's on the upper floor, right on the beach. It's midway between the commercial centers on the island so it is very quiet. The condo is in very good shape and the owner is available and responsive should anything go wrong. Was able to pay online with an echeck and got our deposit back with no issues.

We absolutely loved this condo! The condo is very clean and well kept. It is in the perfect location for all of the local amenities and tourist attractions. Our favorite part of our entire vacation was being able to walk out of the condo and down to the beach. My family had such a great time here and we are eager for our next trip to Emerald Isle.

What a perfect place to stay! We have spent many vacations on the Outer Banks,but this was our first visit to Emerald Isle....and we'll be back! This condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. The views of the beach are amazing and the pool was just steps away (for those rare too rough ocean days.) The unit is pristine with a well equipped kitchen. The owners were wonderful to work as well (they went above and beyond for us!) This was a great pace that has brought our family many cheerful memories! I recommend this particular condo as our first choice...but shhhhh, don't say it too loud as we don't want Emerald Isle to grow up too fast! It's the perfect ratio of quiet with some family entertainment for the occasional summer storm or if you need a break from the sun.

We loved the condo! The condo was close enough to the beach we were comfortable with our 9 year old son walking up to the condo to get something. Other beaches we always escort him because there are too many people and it's too far away. It was our first trip to EI, and we are already planning our trip next year! I highly recommend this condo!

My husband and I loved the condo we stayed at. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was supplied well with kitchen items. We found the beach to be beautiful. Unfortunately one day that we were there, there was a Troical depression- so the weather was not so great that day. The only down fall about this beach, is that it didn't seem suitable for swimming what so ever. If you are wanting to go somewhere that you can swim in the ocean all day, you may want to choose a different beach. My husband and I were perfectly content swimming in the pool. While we were there we played miniature golf and raced go carts, searched for shells (and found many), went out to the beach at night time with flashlights and spotted crabs, went to several very nice restaurants, swam in the pool, went to see the Shackelford horses and climbed the light-house there, visited The Sweet Spot and purchased ice cream and taffy, went to Beaufort and shopped at the little village shops (highly recommend). If you want to go somewhere, there is always a bit of a drive. But, what do you expect when you want the beach and not the city build up. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever taken. Southern hospitality was fantastic. A big thank you to Denise- the owner, she was very nice and informative.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. So sorry you experienced a tropical depression during your visit. Unfortunately, no beach is suitable for swimming during a tropical depression or a hurricane. The water is rough for hundreds of miles during such events and people should stay out of the water. Also rip currents are prevalent during tropical storms and hurricanes. Otherwise, Emerald Isle is a perfect beach to swim in during normal weather conditions.

We had our breath taken away as soon as we walked in the door. From every angle we had the beautiful ocean view. We watched gorgeous sunrise and sunsets from the deck, enjoyed many morning and afternoon strolls on the beach. The condo is very comfortable and well furnished with all the things you need for a worry free vacation. The beds were very comfortable and made for a good nights sleep. All the neighbors were very friendly. You feel like you're right at home. It was very nice to recieve a call from the owner after we checked in to make sure we had arrived and everything was ok. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our week. We definitely hated to see our departure date come so quickly. You won't regret staying at this condo. It's wonderful.

Best of the Best - Outstanding Vacation - Sad to Leave

This was our first time on Emerald Isle and we weren’t disappointed. The weather was great, beach was clean, and water was warm. The accommodations were outstanding and the owner was a pleasure to work with. This unit didn’t have the look and feel of a typical vacation condo. It felt more like staying at a home on the beach. Beds were very comfortable; it had a better sink faucet than we have in our home; very nice microwave; tons of kitchen utensils, cups, plates, and the like. Everybody just loved the recliner chair and foot rest in the living room. To top things off the beach access and views were outstanding – nothing but a narrow band of sand dunes between the condo and the beach. You can sit on the deck and it feels like you are on the beach. Because of the geography of the area, you get both the sunrise and sunset views. The sun rises on the left and sets on the right, not front and back at your typical Atlantic beach locations. By far our most favorite part was opening the door in the master bedroom and listening to the ocean waves through the storm door. That’s what we’ll miss the most.

Wir waren im Juli 1 Woche in dieser super Strandwohnung. Die Wohnung gehört zu einer sehr gepflegten Anlage. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung stimmte genau und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten uns toll entspannen. Denise hat alles super organisiert. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, alles war wie neu und sehr geschmakvoll eingerichtet. Super war auch, dass es Spiele und Filme für die Kinder hatte. Die Aussicht auf den Atlantik und den Strand ist unbeschreiblich schön. Stundenlang sind wir am Strand gewesen und haben Muscheln gesammelt. Empfehlenswert ist auch das NC Aquarium und die diversen netten Golfanlagen in der Gegend. Zu der Anlage gehört auch ein schöner Pool, den wir oft benutzt haben. In der näheren Umgebung (Emerals Isle, Atlantic Beach) gibt es viele nette Restaurants, zB Frost Seafood House, Clam Digger Inn, amos Moskitos). Ich würde sofort wieder hingehen.

We have stayed in Emerald Isle over the years, numerous times, and no condo is more enjoyable to be in than this one! Attention to detail is paramount! The decor is wonderful...!it is a beautiful place for a beach vacation!

We have had a stressful year with a very sick baby and spent last summer in hospitals and doctor offices, this by far surpassed our need for a get away. Your place was perfect for us and everyone had a wonderful time. We have already started talking about when we could come back! Totally wonderful condo. Everything was exactly as described, too often we have been misled by "beach front", not so with this property. It truly is beachfront with no obstructions at all. Very clean, very family friendly and would absolutely recommend it. Loved our stay here.

Denise was so very nice and welcoming, made us feel right at home. The location was just what we wanted. Anything we asked she was willing to help us. She just went out of her way to make our stay the greatest. A beautiful place by the sea, and a great hostess.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is excellent and the extra efforts that owners put in maintaining the property really shows. The property was very clean and well maintained. It is close to attractions like the aquarium and right on the beach. We would surely recommend the property to families with kids and look forward to renting it again ourselves.

We really enjoyed our week here & would stay another if we could! This is our 3rd unit that we have stayed in w/in Ocean Reef & fell this is the nicest. Decorations are nice, but the best are the beds! We have never had such a good rest other than at our own home! The pillow tops even on the pull-out sofa are so comfortable. Our 3 kids enjoyed every minute. Thank you muchly

Thank you for providing such a lovely, comforta ble, and feature-filled home for us to rent. We had a great time. Dana and I enjoyed cooking here. Your kitchen is so well stocked with cooking tools, pots and pans. All in all, this was a great week. Walks on the beaches, fabulous views from the porch, DVD's or cable TV to entertain us at night, jogs in the morning, internet access to keep up with work projects and friends.
